Fukui brings the heat! More greatness!!! This #Allosaurus “Different Lizard” Marsh 1877 is from Utah and is mostly original. Since the last post I have learned there is quite the backstory to this specimen. More to follow. #Monolophosaurus, a Chinese #theropod #dinosaur named in 1993, causes cladograms havoc (one of the reasons I like it ;-)) as it has such a neat mix of basal and some derived characters. I don’t know if there is agreement on where it sits phylogenetically, but this Middle #Jura
