🏀On January 18, 1972, in the 22nd NBA All-Star Game held at The Forum in Inglewood, California, the Lakers’ “Mr. Clutch,” Jerry West, sank a last-second, 20-foot jumper to lead the West to a 112-110 victory over the East, as he garnered MVP honors. The game is also notable in that Dave Cowens and Bob Lanier made their All-Star debuts.
