The Environment Agency has issued eight flood warnings for Greater Manchester amid heavy rainfall today (Wednesday, October 9). The warnings are all for different areas near the River Irk, which runs through north Manchester and into Oldham. One of the affected areas is near the North Manchester General Hospital.
